Cambridge Rotary Club Charity Concert Supports RBET

On the evening of Weds 6th December, the festive season truly began with a series of carols and Christmas songs performed by children from Cambridgeshire schools.

West Road concert hall rang out with the enthusiastic and cheery musical efforts of many young people from the area, hosted by the Cambridge Rotary Club, in two rousing carol concerts, with five schools in each.

Even the audience got to take part in some festive songs to end each concert!

Red Balloon is lucky enough to be one of this year’s recipients of the funds raised by these concerts, as this year the Rotary Club raised money to support young people in the local area.

Michelle Williams, Headteacher of Red Balloon of the Air, was delighted to represent Red Balloon, and thank the Cambridge Rotary Club on behalf of us all.

Highlights of the concerts will be played on Cambridge Radio 105 over the Christmas period.

Huge thanks for the Rotary Club, the parents, friends and families who supported the event and – of course – the amazing young performers themselves. What a lovely way to begin Christmas!
