Red Balloon Cambridge recipes

Red Balloon Cambridge's receipe book

Every year, Carrie Herbert, Red Balloon’s founder, opens her garden to the public to allow everyone to enjoy her beautiful plants, have a slice of cake, and learn more about Red Balloon. This year, the Open Garden wasn’t possible due to lockdown restrictions, so students and staff at Red Balloon Cambridge decided to make this glorious, glossy recipe book as a way of sharing information about our charity through the medium of snacks and cake. They feel that snacks and cake are very important in emotional recovery, and also great fun to make!

With 38 delicious recipes, ranging from Raul’s paella and Adam’s falafel to Olwyn’s chocolate pudding and Jess’s impossible cake, there’s lots to delight the taste buds! So why not bag a copy for the loved one in your life – or even yourself!

To request a copy, send an email with your name, address and phone number, and how many copies you’d like. In exchange we ask that you make a suggested donation of £10 a copy (please put Red Balloon Cambridge in the drop down box).

We hope you enjoy sharing the food that we love.
