Red Balloon Worthing Excited to Appoint Head of Centre and Centre Business Officer

Red Balloon Worthing is excited to announce that they have appointed Kim Anderson as Head of Centre, and Lucy Jackson as Centre Business Officer.

Kim Anderson has worked in the education sector for over 30 years as a teacher, senior leader, SENDCO, and Designated Safeguarding Lead.

“I am really thrilled to be leading on the development of the new Red Balloon Centre in Worthing. I am passionate about working with young people and helping them discover a life-long love of learning,” says Anderson. “I am inspired by the stories of young people from Red Balloon who have overcome challenges in order to achieve personal success and re-gain their confidence and self-worth. I am excited to begin the journey with our young people, parents/carers and colleagues at Red Balloon Worthing.”

Lucy Jackson has worked in the charity sector for over ten years.

“I love working in the charity sector and value being able to work for organisations that are making a real difference in people’s lives,” says Jackson. “Working for Red Balloon and being able to watch the students grow in confidence and progress is so exciting, and I feel privileged to be a part of it.”

Red Balloon Worthing will soon be open as a place of safety for our young people, putting their voices at the centre of their learning. By following their interests and providing wellbeing and tailored education support, we will help them regain their self-esteem as they rediscover their love for learning and once again feel a valued part of a student community.

Red Balloon Worthing is open soon! Stay tuned for updates!
