Are you a teacher interested in a new and unique opportunity? Would you like to learn more about what makes Red Balloon different? Can you see yourself educating young people out of the traditional school setting? Then we would love to hear from you!

Red Balloon Aylesbury is planning to open in September 2025 and will be the newest Centre in Red Balloon Educational Trust. Educating minds aged 11-18, we are looking for potential teachers to join the team. At this time, we are searching for qualified teachers up to GSCE level in:

Maths
English
Science
Arts
as well as student Mentors

Teaching at Red Balloon is not like teaching at a mainstream school, and not just because of our small class sizes. Every young person who becomes a part of our Red Balloon community negotiates their curriculum, which incorporates academic tuition as well as community, wellbeing and therapeutic sessions. All of our young people receive guidance towards attending English, Maths and Science at a certification level that is tailored to them. We believe that this tailored approach is the key to our success.

We will also have a mentor position available. Mentors play a key role at Red Balloon, and they become integral to all parts of the education of their young people. They are the connection between academic learning, well-being and social re-engagement.
