RBAir’s Volunteer Appreciation Evening

Appreciation Evening

At Red Balloon of the Air we are so lucky to have a team of amazing volunteers whose dedication, time and patience contributes so much to our young people and staff. Especially in times like these, we are so grateful for the support our volunteers continue to provide!

To show our appreciation, on the 12th of June 2021 Carrie Herbert, Red Balloon’s founder, kindly opened her beautiful garden exclusively for volunteers and we were able to host our very first Volunteer Appreciation evening. Not only was this a great opportunity for our volunteers from different centres to get to know each other, and other RBAir team members, it was the first time most of our volunteers were able to meet each other, due to the Covid 19 restrictions.

In these times of working from home and social distancing, it was great to get together in such a beautiful location to show such a wonderful group of people some appreciation! We are looking forward to hosting many more Volunteer Appreciation events in the future and to welcoming future volunteers to our team!
