Red Balloon Cambridge head teacher Jessica Lechner is jumping on her bike and cycling the length of the island to raise funds for the Cambridge Centres.
When the summer holiday hits, Jess and friend Jane will be putting themselves to the test with a multi-day cycling challenge. By no means expert cyclists, the pair will be testing their mettle by completing a Lands End to John O Groats cycling challenge.
They will be riding nearly 1000m from the bottom of Great Britain right to the top over a number of days, traveling over varied terrain as they travel through the countryside of multiple counties on their journey northwards
