Location: From home and occasional trips to our Milton premises
Hours: 1-1 ½ days per week fixed term with the potential to extend.
Salary: Volunteer role only, travel expenses are reimbursed
Summary of the role
Red Balloon of the Air is an award-winning charity that operates a leading-edge virtual learner centre. We offer academic, wellbeing and community support to transform the lives of students (aged 9-18 years) who want to learn but have had low rates of attendance at school due to high anxiety, severe bullying, trauma or chronic stress.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Wellbeing Team Support Volunteer to assist the Wellbeing team in creating and maintaining a platform for supporting the needs and wellbeing of RBAir staff.
Key Tasks:
- Help create and maintain the online Staff Well-being Hub of information for staff to access.
- Create displays for the website and display board within the office.
- Support the Staff Well-being team with administrative tasks.
- Research support available in key areas for staff.
- Update the Staff Well-being Team of any upcoming events or new information that may benefit the team.
Personal Qualities/Experience
- Empathetic, reliable, organised and friendly.
- Team player but with the confidence to work independently within a group.
- Flexible with good communication skills.
- Good IT knowledge is required.
- Well-being/therapeutic experience/interest is desirable
