Location: Milton, Cambridge

Hours: The option of one of the following slots:
Wednesday 10-12am or
Wednesday 1.30 – 3.30pm or
Thursday 1.30-3.30pm
fortnightly but with flexibility to come in weekly at busy times.

(NB earlier finish to align with school picks up etc. can be accommodated)

Roles:

  • Organise boxes of resources to be sent out to students studying science online from home.
  • Keep up to date on stock of resources, particularly consumables.
  • Research procurement of new resources.
  • Develop practical activities that can be carried out by students safely at home, either during lessons or as part of an online science club.
  • Prepare resources, including reagents, for occasional face to face science sessions.

Qualities:

  • Organised with good record keeping.
  • Creative / able to use initiative.
  • Some understanding of science, and particularly of science learning at KS3 and GCSE level, desirable.
