Location: Cambridge

Hours: Part-time 30 hours per week over 5 days (6 hours
per day to cover morning break and lunchtime) 38 weeks a year

Salary: Annual FTE £24,000-£25,350 (depending on experience and qualifications), pro-rated at £18,000-£19,000 p/a

Role:

The purpose of this role is to plan, order and prepare delicious and nutritious (mostly) vegetarian meals for a group of around 70 people (staff, students and visitors).

The Cook is in charge of preparing healthy and balanced meals for the group of staff, students and volunteers. This person will be based in the kitchen. They will liaise with the other Cook and Kitchen Assistant and also with the Coordinator. They are a participating member of the community, communicating regularly with all staff, students, parents/carers, volunteers and visitors to the Centre.

To be considered for this role you will need:

• Level 2 food hygiene and food safety training (desirable)
