ISA award shortlist

Red Balloon has been announced as a finalist in the Independent School Association’s ISA Awards 2019. From across all of the independent schools in the UK, we are among the top three in the ‘Excellence and innovation in mental health and wellbeing’ category. This is a wonderful acknowledgement of all the dedication that staff give our learners – across the Red Balloon network.

Being shortlisted for this award is something we are incredibly proud of. We put the mental health and well-being of our students at the heart of everything we do, and so to have this recognised by the ISA is fantastic.

It not only celebrates the dedicated work of our amazing staff teams, but also shows that our efforts and approach are judged to be a high calibre and making a positive difference to our students. To be in the top three independent schools in the UK making strides in this area is an incredible achievement, and we are thrilled to be sharing the good news.

Lena Milosevic MBE, Chief Executive Officer, is delighted at the news and has commented:

“Red Balloon offers our students a lifeline in times of crisis; intensive care for their mind, body and soul so they can regain their equilibrium as quickly as possible. Their mental health and well-being is at the heart of everything we do. We couldn’t be prouder of our incredible staff who tirelessly put our students’ needs first while helping them achieve their learning and personal development aims. Making it to the top three in the national ISA awards is no mean feat! It’s wonderful recognition of all their hard work, commitment and dedication to our students.”

The ISA Awards are an annual showcase of excellence among its member schools. You can find more about the awards on the ISA’s website: www.isaschools.org.uk/isa-awards.
