Part-time Humanities teacher at Red Balloon of the Air
Red Balloon of the Air seeks an experienced Humanities Teacher, with QTS, to work part-time (40% FTE, salary £21,825/year FTE) with KS3 and KS4 students on-line, either 1:1 or small groups. Our preference is for a teacher with a History focus but with the ability to teach a wider range of humanities based subjects. The probation period will be based in Cambridge with the potential to work some hours from home thereafter.

Part-time Humanities (History and/or Spanish) teacher at Red Balloon - NW London
Red Balloon - NW London seeks a part-time KS3/4 Humanities (History and/or Spanish) teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Humanities in a small group basis, designing and implementing a learning programme for each student, establishing coherent academic plans, recording achievement and liaising with other teachers to plan and organise teaching. Providing evidence of student progress is an important part of the role.

Remuneration will be circa £25,000 p.a. (16 hours per week for 38 weeks per year). This will be pro-rata for a part-time teacher.

Are you an outstanding English teacher who wants to work with vulnerable young people in a small supportive setting?
Red Balloon - NW London is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible member of staff to deliver English to students aged 9 to 17.
Red Balloon offers staff the opportunity to work in small communities and to make a real difference to young people who have experienced trauma. We are looking for experienced staff to help young people re-engage with learning as well as take part in the wider community. Class sizes are small, typically 1 to 4 students, with a maximum number of 20 students attending the Centre. We work to the needs of the individual student which gives a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in relation to the student's academic and wellbeing needs.
